Adding email addresses dynamically

Can someone offer suggestions on adding additional email addresses to my domain programatically? Some people have shown an interest in getting "theirname@mydomain.com" from me. Space is not an issue, so I would like to pursue the idea.
My intention is to build a web form that submits to a handler page, which can add the address for me. Currently I am entertaining the idea of both full accounts, and forward only accounts. It's too much of a hassle to do this manually, and I can't find anything in these forums, or Dreamhost's KB. Any input or helpful links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
