i am getting this error when trying to install Movable Type.
Bad ObjectDriver config: Connection error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
Any help appreciated.

I'm not positive, but I *think* and that's not allways my strong point, but I think that the problem is that the mysql connection is not properly defined in your mt.cfg file. you have to define the host name of your database, localhost will not work. Double check thoes settings and see if that will work for you.
