phpBB and auction MOD

Hi,
I've been having trouble with the auction MOD (http://www.phpbb-auction.com./) for phpBB 2.0.11. Apparently others have not had this problem so I'm wondering if it is caused by running php as cgi.
Can anyone offer me any insight?
