I just installed the Gallery script. Tried to change language to a non-English one -- nothing happens. It stays in English. Tried both general and account settings.
What might be wrong?

Gallery and its plugins have language packs that go along with it. Go to the Gallery Admin and look at the Language Settings section. It should bring up all available languages available for upgrade, remove, or download.
Then check Plugins and poke around there under the Get More Plugins tab. Update the plugin list and click Modify to see what languages are installed.
