Really Simple CAPTCHA

I've managed to install Contact Form 7 on the latest version of WordPress, however I can't seem to get Really Simple CAPTCHA to work with it. The first part of troubleshooting advice is: Really Simple CAPTCHA needs GD and FreeType library installed on your server. Ask your server administrator if they are installed.

Is this installed? If not, can I install it and how? Thanks much.

FreeType is part of GD. They are both installed in the PHP5 environment.
