Internal Server Error - Wordpress

I have 2 websites hosted at Dreamhost. One is a static HTML website, which is working just fine. The other is a Wordpress blog, which is not working. When I try to access the blog URL or the Admin Panel, neither works, I receive this error:

>500 Internal Server Error
>
>The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
>unable to complete your request.
>
>Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@descartavel.info
>and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you
>might have done that may have caused the error.
>
>More information about this error may be available in the server error
>log.
>
>Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to
>use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Does anyone have any tip about what is causing this? Is this a database error or is a problem with the server? If is a problem with the server it should be affecting also the other website, shouldn't?

If is a problem with Wordpress software, how could I fix it? Simply reinstalling Wordpress software again (over the old install) would do it?

I really appreciate any help.

Thanks a lot.

Reano

Guys:

After some minutes out of work, both the wordpress panel and the blog came back to life. I guess was just a momentary unavailability.

Thanks anyway.

Cheers,
