Please upgrade subversion server to 1.5.x

Hi,

I've been using a subversion repository at dreamhost for a while and all is great. Would it be possible to upgrade to 1.5.x somewhere in the near future?
Dreamhost is still running 1.4.2 which is from November 2006 (see http://subversion.tigris.org/release-history.html). Having version 1.5.x would add the much appreciated merge-tracking to subversion.

Now would be a good time to upgrade the Dreamhost Subversion server version from version 1.4 -- especially now that version 1.6 has been released, and version 1.4 is no longer supported by the developers (i.e. no more releases/bug fixes on 1.4.x).

I agree. Can't DreamHost offer just one server running version 1.6 of subversion to start with?
Then everyone who complains to support about the subversion version could get a repository on subversion 1.6.

I'm all for 1.6. And I agree with whoever said the DH lists Subversion as a feature, and with 1.4.2 they're *seriously* out of date. I just submitted a support ticket regarding this. Maybe everyone else should too, to try and get their attention?

Wow, I totally fail. We do not currently have SVN 1.5 installed (I was looking at my private testing machine, which is running a rather experimental configuration), but we do have an issue open for our developers to build and install packages for either 1.5 or 1.6.
