I need to move a Wordpress blog from one DreamHost hosting account to another. I have never moved Wordpress before. I know I must back up the database, but need help with the correct order of doing everything, in order to minimize down time for the blog. What is the correct method of moving Wordpress?

Set everything up at the destination. Use phpMyAdmin to Drop all the tables in the destination site. Then do a dump and restore of your database:
