phpBB3 "Easy" install... How to change the banner?

I'm curious if there's any way to change the banner image for the forum. I know how to do this with an "Advanced" install, but am curious if this is possible with an "Easy" install.

I'm fine with the available themes, but would like to use my own image for the forum banner.

I believe the Easy Installs work from a communal core, which may hinder your ability to change anything. Only way to really check is to make a dummy run on a test subdomain and check the ownership of files and your ability to add/edit files.

If you do a dummy run, please let us know how it went.

I believe sXi is correct. Since the "Easy" installs are not hosted on your "local" disk, but are a shared core using sym links, it's not as straight forward as managing an "Advanced" install where you have access to all the files on your local server through an SSH terminal session.

I'll poke around a little more and see what I can find.

Did anyone come up with a way to change the phpbb logo in the left-hand corner to a customized logo/graphic?

You need to install via 'Advanced' in the One-Click menu.
