installed template messed up WP

Hello,

my domain is http://SpikeYourSales.info.

DH support fixed my WP install for me. Wordpress is installed in it's own directory. Than I had to go and screw it up and by installing a template. When you go the the above site you see the new template that I want to use, but it is not working.

The same occurs when you go to http://SpikeYourSales.info/wordpress/.

/spikeyoursales.info root has a .htaccess file in it with
# BEGIN WordPress

# END WordPress

the index.php file contains

/* Short and sweet */
define('WP_USE_THEMES', true);
require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php');
?>


Wordpress address (URL) = http://spikeyoursales.info/wordpress

Blog address (URL) = http://spikeyoursales.info


what have I done? What other information do you need to help me figure this out?

My goal is to have the home page of http://spikeyoursales.info load the blog home page.
