Install problems please HELP!

Hello guys,

I am triying to install

IONCUBE
FFMPEG-PHP
FLVTOOL

I followed the steps in the dreamhost wiki and the install documentations but encountering following problems:

Ioncube requests a restart after installation:
http://p.orces.com/ioncube-loader-helper.php?page=install-assistant

Could not install FFMPEG-PHP because it needs access to autoconfig: Cannot find autoconf: Please check your autoconf installation and the $PHP_AUTOCONF environment variable is set correctly and then rerun this script.

and FLVTool2 can not be installed without root access:

Without all this my script will not work.

Any ideas?

I can't help you with ioncube as I refuse to use it and therefore have no experience with it.

As for ffmpeg-php, you *will* need to install autoconf yourself first.

There may be a way to work-around the requirement for "root" access to install a working flvtool, but I have never tried it, so I can't help you there.

Just curious: why do you want/need these things for *processing* video on the webserver? It seems to me that those things are best done on your won desktop rather than using he webserver's resources for that kind of processing.

yes it's for a video share site I am building. I want to make sure that all works fine before I sign up for the dreamhost virtual server.

I am new to all this can you give me a hint how to make my own config file?
